Vehicle history disappearing when vehicle is moved from temporary customer to its actual owner

In HITS, when a vehicle is reassigned to a new owner, the prior vehicle history is moved to a different table in our database, legacy history. 

Some background:

MaddenCo had ~22,000 vehicles assigned to the CASH account. We reassigned them to the Temporary Customer so that the stores will be required to add customer information.

Once a user reassigns the vehicle from the Temporary Customer to the "new" customer, the history will only display for the new Current Owner and the legacy history will not be visible as the legacy history is still linked to the Temporary Customer. 

The solution:

1. Reassign the vehicle to the "new" customer

2. From the sales counter view, click on the History button next to vehicles:
