Team Daily Checklist
Purpose: To ensure the team maintains a clean, organized, safe, and customer-ready environment throughout the day.

Opening Procedures
- Arrive on time, ready to work, and in proper uniform.
- Conduct facility walk-through and note any safety or maintenance concerns.
- Assist in staging work areas: tools, parts, and tires for early jobs.
- Check that shop equipment is ready and safe to use.
- Ensure restrooms are spotless and guest-ready.
- Vacuum or sweep floors and mats.
- Wipe down counters, tables, and seating.
- Restock coffee bar and water stations (Point S water if available), along with cups, coffee, creamers, and condiments.
- Organize magazines (clean, current, no political content).
- Straighten and clean displays for batteries, wipers, and tires.
- Verify drains clear, cords safe, and work areas organized.
- Sweep entryway and outside areas; remove any debris.
Midday Procedures
- Greet every guest, introduce yourself, and offer water or coffee — they’re our guests and should be treated as such.
- Maintain cleanliness (“clean as you go”) in all work areas.
- Take scheduled lunch breaks and maintain accurate time punches.
- Restock consumables (oil, filters, wipers) and notify manager of shortages.
- Perform quick midday refresh: sweep floors, wipe counters, restock coffee bar.
- Check display organization and cleanliness throughout the day.
- Support teammates during peak times and communicate workflow needs.
- Participate in any assigned training or skill development modules.
- Assist in verifying DVI and alignment completion when applicable.
Closing Procedures
- Lobby / Waiting Area: Sweep, mop, wipe down counters and seating, restock coffee bar, and empty trash.
- Shop Area: Sweep floors, put away tools, secure parts, wipe down equipment, and confirm workbenches are clean.
- Restroom(s): Clean toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors; restock soap, paper towels, and toilet paper; replace liners.
- Outside Area: Sweep entryway, remove debris, and ensure exterior signage is straight and clean.
- Lace dead tires into trailer/bin and secure.
- Ensure equipment has been turned off and compressor(s) drained.
- Verify vehicles are locked and keys stored securely.
- Check in with SCM or closing manager before leaving.
End-of-Day Confirmation
- All work areas cleaned and stocked.
- All tools and equipment stored safely.
- Restrooms and lobby ready for morning.
- Team has communicated any issues to SCM.
