      • End the task for 1st Mile app (may appear as aacredit).

      • End the task for HITS, listed under OpenJDKBinary.

  2. Power Cycle the Credit Card Machine

    • Unplug the machine to fully power it down.

    • Wait about 60 seconds, then plug it back in.

  3. Verify Payment Status

    • Before running another card, open the 1st Mile app and check whether the previous payment was processed.

    • This helps prevent double billing.
