Realign check (or other) printing in NetSuite
Are checks not printing in an aligned way? Here are the instructions! Each user would need to do this in their NetSuite account preferences
Realigning preprinted checks in NetSuite involves adjusting the printing position within the software, not physically modifying the checks themselves. Here's how you can achieve this: Adjusting Print Offsets: Go to Home > Set Preferences. Navigate to the Transaction subtab. Locate the Printing section. Find the fields labeled Horizontal Print Offset and Vertical Print Offset. By adjusting the values in these fields, you can nudge the printed information up or down (vertical) and left or right (horizontal) on the preprinted check. Important Considerations: Changes made here will affect all subsequently printed checks. Be mindful of entering excessively large values as it might cause data to fall outside the printable area. Make minor adjustments, preview the check using the print function, and refine the offsets until the information aligns correctly with your preprinted checks. Additional Tips: Ensure the Page Scaling option within the print window is set to None. Automatic scaling can cause misalignment issues. If you're facing significant alignment problems, consider contacting NetSuite support or a NetSuite customization consultant for further assistance. Remember, using preprinted checks with NetSuite might require some adjustments within the software to ensure proper alignment. By following these steps and using the print preview function, you can achieve accurate check printing.
