Huddle Board SOP (Article)

Huddle Board Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

Created: July 2026

Audience: Service Center Managers

Expectation: Every morning, print the required gauges (daily, weekly, etc. as needed). Post them onto the Huddle board. Prior to the beginning of the day, bring your team together for 3-5 minutes to review the following:

  • Where is our status in stack ranking and our gauges?
  • Have there been any changes in these metrics?
  • What are our daily goals or areas of focus? (Ex: if battery sales are lagging, the focus should be on testing batteries when conducting a DVI.)

        Huddle Board Example:

        1. Gauges – day district view (emailed to SCM daily). How do we compare to the neighboring locations? Are we hitting our goals? If not, what can we do differently today to hit our goals?
        2. Gauges - month-to-date (MTD)- district view (emailed to SCM daily). How do we compare to the neighboring locations?
        3. Stack Ranking (emailed weekly) – What’s our President's Club status?
        4. In the Loop (emailed weekly) - Essential information posted each week. Review it weekly with the team. Confirm the team’s understanding.
        5. Current Promotions (several days before via email) – Ensure that all employees know about the current promotion.
        6. Staffing Schedule - Is the location staffed to service the customers?
        7. The bottom of the board can be useful for any additional notes or reminders for the team.
