How To Adjust Service Center Calendar Video
The document explains how Gills Analytics calculates store open days to adjust daily goals. These adjustments only pertain to daily goals. Monthly goals are not in scope. The adjustment will appear next day.
Calculations: Based on the store calendar spreadsheet located in the Store Training section of the GA self service section on Gills Team Website, Gills Analytics (GA) will count open days as “O”, half day as “H”, and closed as “C”. GA will sum “O” as 1 and “H” as .5. The total sum will then be divided by store goals by month.
Please Note: If a store schedule indicates an open day, but GA calculates zero sales for the corresponding day, GA will no longer count that day as open which will reduce the total days counted as open and will increase the daily goals.
1. Navigate to https://gillstire.sharepoint.com/sites/GillsTeam
2. Click on GA Training.
3. Open the Store Calendar Folder
4. Open the calendar
5. Filter the Date Column to the dates relative to the change needed.
6. Update the corresponding cells to the dates to update.
a. O = Open (1 day)
b. C = Closed (0 day)
c. H = Half Day (1/2 days)
7. Close the spreadsheet
